I totally not voting for time skip ...

Since norio still going need explain about the S2 drama shooting ...very sure she actually planned something about it but decide to scrap the whole arc about it

Because she can't explain about yamada mom action during the announcement also

It was a cute little series. Sadly the relationship didn't progress further, but they just got into high school. Give them some time, they're not gonna segue into unprotected sex leading to impregnation right away.

Yeah this isn't over until I see grankids like in Aharen-san.
Also is the graduation song a real one, or an original by the author?

Imo just okay overall. I think the first few chapters were super rough but got into decent pacing. From there up to them getting together was extremely solid, loved all of it. Thennnn we get the gradual decline until it ends. The entire plot with them not being able to be around each other being the focus is just weird. Idk just really lost me towards the end, and like others have said it doesnt feel like real closure.

Umm, yeah, that's an ending. Something that remains constant is Manga thinking the climax is the ending. Or maybe they thought the exam results was the climax. It doesn't really feel like there's a falling action and a proper ending often which sucks. That's not like a twenty year time skip and us leaning everything ends up okay. I'd be happy with like that lunch afterwards to sit with what we've been through and have some closure. These are, supposedly, real people who are just like barely gone through puberty. This isn't even a coming of age story because they haven't even come of age. They are middle schoolers going to high school. Literally anything could happen between now and when they are of marrying age. They could become entirely different people. They have already changed so much since the start (this Manga itself was so very different at the start). That's a feature not a bug. It's perfectly fine to leave things open ended, but give us some proper space to sit with it all. Like it's crazy to me that we aren't ending on at least the 200th chapter where maybe it's the first day of High School and we get to see how much Kyo has grown or something.

I don't like open ending in general, but strangely, I like this one. It's not the end of Kyotaro and Anna's journey, but just the end of an arc in their life.
Thank you to Norio-sensei, and thank you to the translation team for the past 8 years 💕

Well, well, a nice graduation speech from Yamada, though as expected, it doesn't measure up to Ichikawa's speech from the previous year.
I was actually hoping that she would be the one taking the first step to make their relationship public since given her career, she's the one who has to decide whether she's willing to take the risk as a celebrity in Japan (paparazzi, job offers etc.). One chance for her to not be outshined by Ichikawa in this volume up in smoke. But hey, it is what it is. If anything, that just leaves me less impressed with her and her character development, while making Ichikawa's development and everything he's accomplished from the beginning of the series all the way to the end stand out even more.
In the end, I can say that I haven't been a huge fan of Yamada because of what happened since Volume 11, but maybe the anime can expand on some scenes and change my mind. I'm definitely looking forward to the anime and more of Oneeyaba.

It has been mentioned before but for anyone looking for something similar to Bokuyaba (but way less complex), I can recommend "Stop! I'm falling for you".

Thanks for the translation

Damn, I can't believe its over.

I feel like I have so much I want to write and talk about this story, but I weirdly just want to feel the breeze and talk a walk and see things I never realized that were there before.

Dangers in my heart will hold a special place in my heart for not just being a beautiful romance story, but also being a story about how every part of you deserves to be loved, both the good and bad. This is a story that doesn't want you to just feel like you have to grow as a person, but also makes you appreciate all the parts about you, all the stuff you feel embarassed about as well as the parts that you wish you could change.

Ik many of us are still pretty young people, we have so much in our lives that we don't know whats going to happen, but even if we are scared or nervous for the future, we should always strive to be happy. Cus even if we aren't with the people who we think will be in our lives forever, it doesn't mean their impact will be limited. Our journey never stops, so we should always try to be happy with ourselves.

IK this was a weirdly rambling but its how i feel about this ending, Im not sad, I have this weird sense of satisfaction even though its over.

I do hope Norio-sensei does one more bonus chapter kinda like komi san so we can get a clean 200 but overall, Dangers in my heart is a 9.5-10 / 10 for me
