Chapter out and well erika is scared which is good. But this chapter didnt benefit sokke as an villain. He did all this just because his father was an bad father to him? thats horrible written. He got the bad treatment and than he thought i will decide that engagement with erika would be best for erika and nagi... horrible.

Is this series fucking trash, or did Miki-sensei's brain get stuck in the 2000s, when female characters were damsels in distress getting SA or an attempt at r@p.... waiting for their white knight to arrive? What the fuck is this? Also, where did all the temperament of that spoiled girl go? I was really counting on Erika to at least punch him in the face (and yes, I understand that she is scared).

Am I the only one who now has the impression that Hiro and Nagi's bet (about a kiss) was only there to minimize the damage (the author's sick NTR-bait fantasies) of the SA committed by Suosuke and so that readers wouldn't insult Erika herself because of it?

I don't want to go into Erika and Nagi because my opinion of them hasn't changed Nagi is a pathetic guy with no development, while Erika is a stupid and spoiled girl, also without much development. My last hope was Sosuke, that he would become a genuinely decent antagonist, or maybe it would turn out that he actually wanted what was best for Nagi and Erika, and then Miki-sensei destroys his character in one chapter and turns him into a typical antagonist who kidnaps and commits SA against the girl (MC) he doesn't even actually care about because she's just a tool for him. I literally feel like this Miki-sensei couldn't turn Sosuke into a real antagonist over 311 chapters, so she decided to introduce her empty and disgusting idea and put in an NTR-bait SA scene just so readers would hate this antagonist, because Miki-sensei had no talent to shape his character throughout the series in such a way that readers could recognize him as a 100% antagonist, so she decided to take the disgusting and primitive route to make the reader hate him.

The solution to the mystery is also fucking terrible, meaning it literally turned out that a child got offended because he had a shitty father, was afraid that after the "training" he went through, when a new brother was born, he would lose money and power? And Miki tries to moralize it by saying that he wanted to "protect his beloved little brother"?? That's not how it works. Sosuke is just a piece of shit; you can clearly see the Amano blood in him, and what's worse, this asshole Sosuke and his father are going to get a chapter about forgiveness (because why not). For me, this development is pathetic. 😂

And it ends with Erika literally being everyone's scapegoat and just an ordinary object that Sosuke uses to spite his father.

The romantic ending is already practically 90% certain and it will be Nagi x Erika, especially since it is the only narratively coherent ending (although personally I don't like Erika and I would rather have Ai or Sachi win). Erika will now wait for her knight, who will come to rescue her with his “fellowship of the ring” and kick the asses of the villains. Nagi and Erika will ultimately end up together, and the bad characters will suddenly get chapters about redemption (which will be terribly cliché).

The only thing that would positively surprise me would be if Sosuke got a bullet in the head or ended up in prison, and the same goes for the other bad characters. That is something I personally would like to see.

Although I won't lie, deep down I would like this series to get cancelled so that Miki and the editorial department would learn a lesson for writing such shitty arcs and dragging things out, which has turned this series and its plot into complete garbage. Completely honestly, apart from the good art, this series no longer represents anything.

This is going to be tactless to say and it probably won't happen because the series is published in a Shounen magazine, but how many times, or how much, do you think Sosuke will sexually assault (SA) Erika again before Nagi arrives to save her? Because with this talentless author, I think anything can be expected at this point.

Seriously, Reiji Miyajima (the author of RAG), compared to Miki, is probably a wonderful and brilliant author. Sorry, Reiji, for ever doubting you.

Miki-sensei, you're under Kodansha. There is also an author there like Masakuni Igarashi (the guy has very good art and really knows how to handle characters and the plot). Miki, once your hopeless series ends, get a job as Igarashi-sensei's assistant and learn something from him about handling the characters you create as an author, especially the MC. I think you'd only benefit from it.

Now I have a big dilemma should I drop this writing scam or stick with it until the end, considering that there are probably not many chapters left. 😓

Is its a bait because Erika probably will be saved by Nagi in the next chapters.But i agree that the developmnet was way to dragged until now and many unecessary filler arcs during the story,maybe they want to be the new "Rent a Girlfriend"

About Nagi,I agree he is not that good of MC,He is dense,sometimes insensible and he only get jealous when a guy approaches one of the girls.Even if i think he is one of the victims in the story besides Erika.

About the other girls,i think Sachi and his brother complex kinda annoying and she conseidered allying with Sosuke to get Nagi and it made me lose points.Hiro,she was my favorite in the start but after how she treated Nagi in the recent arcs she had,it made her the most hated girl by me and Ai is the least worst one because the only big mistake happpened was the scandal thing but we see she really loves Nagi but we already now she has the least chance of winning of all girls in the story that already have a winner.(Erika)

To writing "Yamada kun and the seven witches" to this one,it was a huge downgrade for Mikki.

This is what I didn't like. Considering how Rika's character is built, I expected her to put up more resistance, react aggressively, and try to run away. But no, as you say, it seems the author is stuck in the 2000s, and the FMC just froze in fear, mentally calling for Nagi to save her, even though on her phone it seems she's calling her mother.

His phone is with Mama Amano,she took his phone after he returned to the hotel.She send the mensage to Nagi but Mama Amano was the one who did read it.

I understood Erika's reaction,i mean she is scared and found out her brother that she loved so much is only a scumbag,she is shocked and sge got way more pale than the last chapter.And in those kinds of situation many people does not know how to react and the body does not work in the same way than the normal way.

I have to say the anime was very weak. 12 episodes and they didn't confirm their relationship or feelings at all. Even more disappointing was when I looked into the novel. The anime only adapted up to volume 3, I think, and the novel ended with 9 volumes. They don't confirm their feelings until the very last volume, but then there's a time skip where they don't see each other for YEARS!!! They meet again by chance, the main character proposes, and they have children just like that... so I don't have much faith in this author.

Fumi was what Grapara wanted to be, NTR baits never crossing the final line, even with the childhood friend, then a happy ending. Also the MC wasn't a bitch. The true NTR Rom-Com
