I think its more she realized its her fault and regretted it but isn't going to stop.Just after a chap about Grandma disliking using Spica, here she is doing it.
Bro, that's a flashback; Aku is one of the guys killed in the last arc (he was poisoned).Just after a chap about Grandma disliking using Spica, here she is doing it.
I think she sees Spica as a tool rather than a granddaughter deep down, since she hadn't bonded with her much before the rest of the family died and was angry Spica was the sole survivor when sitting at her hospital bed.Just after a chap about Grandma disliking using Spica, here she is doing it.
Cops in manga are always seeing Justice done and going "Hey. Stop that!"

Spica is just returning that...'on the spot decision' by giving him first aids when she saw him still alive.
She wouldn't have cared if he died in the initial fallout.
But since he didn't, she decide to balance the scale (but still leave him there, if he die after then oh well)
The ending of that chapter was Grandma saying “I’m now your ride or die, because I created/enabled you”Just after a chap about Grandma disliking using Spica, here she is doing it.
