We started this project a long time ago, back when the official translation was still at Chapter 42. We didn’t expect it to take us this long to catch up. Do you think we can do all this in one night? It took us more than a month to get this much done because of all the SFX we had to work on.

glad this came out all at once so i could figure out quick if i should drop. how many possible deus ex machina can we pull out in a single 1 hour long span of time? power of friendship is all over this place. all this shit happened and im not sure anyone actually got hurt in the end at all. god these badguys suck at their jobs.

Plus the nonsense about the magical escape of the badguys. Including one who was manipulating the minds of people for 10 years. But lets blow this entire 10 year long plan because the hero got beaten once and lets just burn down a single town for.... reasons?

but boy, i sure hate these convenient amnesia stories. so MC is an overpowered sorcerer working on his melee skills since he forgot everything and still turns quite powerful. i have very mixed feelings about this, since it also felt like coming out of nowhere. sure, it added another layer or two to the story, but i would have enjoyed a slower approach more.
