Honestly, I'm starting to get the idea that I'm too illiterate to enjoy anime... or any type of media whatsoever.

After finishing a show, I barely feel anything... I don't get super emotional, or get attached to any characters; whenever I try to write about what I liked about a show, the most that comes up is "It was good", or in the case of anime, I just go on and on about the opening song and just completely ignore the actual story. I don't think I have a once of critical thinking in my body, because someone on my grade level should AT LEAST figure out which character's their favorite in a show. I remember when I was watching Demon Slayer, my little sibling asked me about my favorite character. I hadn't figured it out yet despite being like halfway through the anime. The only reason I chose Inosuke is because I thought Tanijiro was too "common". What type of person chooses their favorite character out of fucking statistics?! Do you know how retarded that is??? Why am I even here at this point? :slap: :slap: :slap: :slap: :nyoron:

I know it's said a lot, but don't beat yourself up.
It's not that you're too illiterate.
Stress can cause us to just detach ourselves from enjoyment, letting our overburdened brain just take a moment to not think and relax.
It's normal to get attached to characters, but it's also normal to not get attached. They're two halves of the same coin.
Sometimes all it takes for anything to be good is that it isn't reality!

Can I be open for a bit??? I absolutely regret becoming a student council member...not because of the work but because how many friendships I lost because I got into an argument with them and crash outs I had...now it's almost like I'm all alone with no one to talk to and have fun.... it's all very lonely, it hurts being not invited out...it hurts being stagnant while everyone seems to be moving forward in their life....I wish I was much better off a person, no one likes to be with me....

I went to see the new Resident Evil movie over the weekend. I was interested when I it wasn't based on any of the games. An in name only adaption is still better than a botched one, and Resident Evil has a ton of those.

Unfortunately, I was quite disappointed. I enjoyed it for the most part, but the ending kinda soured the whole thing. It also just ended abruptly. I actually yelled, "that was fucking it?" in the theater after it ended,

Too many ai generated Satoru Gojos on refrigerators in the streets.
50% of those words are in the Bible but they are not nouns.

Went to touch grass since things were down and I saw a brand new sign that said "NO CHILD LABOUR".
As an LotM fan, that kinda hurt a little.
Also what? Is that some kind of child labour recruitment hotspot? How come nobody told me?

I went to the gym, and at some point both of the back machines were occupied. I decided to wait because I don't like taking turns on the machine

The 1st person is a girl doing five different grips for her back. I mean, I'm no expert, but are all those grips really necessary for a back workout? Well, at least she's actually working out!!! The 2nd person is a guy hogging the equipment, watching Instagram/TikTok reels on his phone, and sending audio messages. He takes +5 minutes between sets

I had to wait about 10 minutes to use the machine. In the end, I had to take turns anyway because another girl wanted to use it, too. Next time I'll just ask to take turns from the beginning

Please, don't be like the 2nd person at your gym

Here's a technique pro gym bros use: stand in front of that second guy, cross your arms while staring him, don't say a word and keep a serious face. In most cases, they'll do the workouts faster than ever.

This is why I am ok with just going on walks. And sometimes use my sis's exercise bike.
