This is a better way to phrase it. Flat feels more like an insult, and I didn't mean it that way, I like the joke of Shiina, I think she's very funny, but she is underexplored and hasn't had a chance to get much characterization beyond what she's introduced as, which isn't bad, she plays her role of funny-man well.

It's hard to develop a character like Shiina in this series because she's pretty much "complete", especially when comparing her to the other girls. She knows who she is, and isn't going to fall in love with Gotou (nor does she want to). She's flawed, but even if she doesn't grow or change at all, the series will continue on just fine. And yes, Takeda Super uses her for funny (and impactful) moments really well lol.

All Shiina wants is to have casual sex with Gotou, and while that's hot and fun, it's a narrative dead end as the point of Daredemo isn't just sex for the sake of it (which is why Kiyomi's arc ended when Gotou decided to drop the idea of marriage and treat Kiyomi solely as a sex friend).

Yuki is the baseball player from the first chapter, he apeared 2 times after. 1 right after the Shinna arc and 2. Before the ED incident. He isn't the guy after Gotou failed his exams, that is just a random sex friend of Shigemi that didn't reapear after that.

I have three obsevations.

One maybe Akito has kinda figured out that no mather if they have sex or not they will always be friends and thats it.
Two lmao Kiyomi, its kinda like a mokey paw wish, she wished for a stud, the stud was so good that now she is afraid of that guy. Be carefull for what you wish for I guess.
Three, maybe me over analising but, it caught my attention that Gotou would only contact Agawa as his last options, he would rather go with Kiyomi rather that Agawa.
