A bittersweet, but logical ending. I must say that Himari and Shinya's ways of overcoming their pasts as bullied victims was interesting with one using it as a drive for her idol career while the other feeling that he didn't moved on which can explain why he atoned in the end by sacrificing his life for someone he cared about.

It's also funny that everyone will live rent free in each other's minds since the class are aware that their pasts will be never erased and Himari using her spite towards her former tormentors as a way to never let them forget their misdeeds.

Honestly, I'd say the ending is among the best that the duo Kimizuka/Hioka did IMO. The manga was entertaining and had cool twists, so it was a fun read.

Tbh, i'm actually quite like this ending more

Tojo literally drop the bombshell to the rest of the classmates that she could and will release the file anytime in their life and she's perfectly live the best of the worlds for the bully victim alike (becoming successful than her tormentors and still having the red tape courtesy of a certain Furukawa, i wonder if she's still vegetable or finally expired)

Their livelihood are pretty much at her mercy and they have to keep looking at their back for the rest of their lives (living in a constant paranoia are no bueno for your well being)

This is actually the best ending Himari could get. She got decisive leverage over them all and everyone had to live on fear that she might be one bad day away or them collectively one screw up away from screwing all of their lives. I don't believe in forgiveness, not when what you did affect the victim for the rest of their lives, unless you gained constant reminder of what you've done for the rest of your lives. Himari did not let anyone forget as long as she was still on screen.

No, Himari did have her revenge. It's a bit similar to that scenario where a snail kept chasing you for the rest of your lives, except you couldn't prepare any countermeasure. You just stuck fearing for your life and even in your happiest moment, you would receive a reminder that everything could be over tomorrow. She could ruin all of their lives, and she wouldnt even need a reason. Who knows, maybe she had a bad day so she decided to release the files? Her deep hate for what they put her through is enough reason to destroy everyone's life on a whim, after all.
