So how it can be the first ever "original" magical tool... if magical tools already exist? Those old ones were original at one point too, y'know? :dogkek:

Works just fine, actually...
Most peeps use piddling 500-1000W heating elements.

Now.. "adjusting" .. your stove to take dual or triple phase, some open parabolic shields or ... adapted.. induction coils....
you try to do serious cooking with bottom-range consumer stuff.... well....

Yeah, I think the wife left him due to him overworking at a black company and not making time for her.

As for Orihime, she's been seen eating in the first couple chapters, when Isamu first got there, but maybe they don't feed her after seeing the appraisal results that she's a God's messenger.

All magic tools are copies of magic tools found in ruins from the Dark Age, this one was reverse engineered from an unknown broken tool and some scraps, to make a new tool. Basically, all other magic tools are traced completely from start to finish, and this one is hand drawn.

no visual indicator of the heat's strength.

Induction but I'm with you there. Granted I would definitely use an induction stove for boiling and simmering.

I know that electric stoves are rather 'meh' in this day and age but one the major appeals would be the lack of smokey flavor. It's one thing if you have it once in a while but if everything had a smokey taste, you would find a lack of it in your food a neat novelty. One of the easier ways you could avoid it with that level of tech would be cooking with a hard charcoal like binchotan.

Which means at one point in time, likely before the thousand year gap in recorded history, craftsmen had the knowledge to create custom lines of code to enchant a tank that created hot or cold water on demand or a kitchen stove that generated open flames below a cooking surface.
Basically, all other magic tools are traced completely from start to finish, and this one is hand drawn.
While I'm sure that there was many items that used standardized patterns and designs for their enchantments. There would still be a market for bespoke installations of custom enchantments. Like the above mentioned water tanks and kitchen stoves. In either case, I would wager that most magical were drawn by hand, or at most used some kind of stencil.

Electronic stoves make it easier to control the temperature, where as stoves that burn fuel require more finesse. True there is some additional flavors added by the burned fuel, but there are essences and additives that can mimic those flavors if open flames are either unavailable or undesirable.

tl:dr
As long as it gets hot, the cooking surface is irrelevant to a sufficiently talented cook.

First one we see made by the Master Crafter, he draws the circuit by hand, since he's drawn it so many times he knows it by heart. Well, you know what I meant, they drew it without copying it, like free hand or something.

The presence of a coding language implies that someone, at some point in the past created it. Even if that someone was a deity. So even if they free hand the circuitry logic using that coding language, tlit is a physical impossibility that they would have been the first people on this world to free hand it. Even more so since they have examples from which they are basing their own designs.

I love the "magic is a programming langauge" trope, it's annoying that he hasn't figured out the magic circle issue yet though it's pretty obvious.
