Extremely bittersweet chapter. Agawa basically confesses her feelings to Gotou, but Gotou isn't able to do the same to her. Even if he loves Agawa the most (and deep down, I think he does), his current feelings are quite complicated, and much less straightforward than his pure and naive feelings from this story's beginning. His experiences sleeping around has him catching feelings for the other heroines, which now prevent him from "choosing" just Agawa.
I think Gotou has given up on solely liking Agawa romantically, and is scared of losing all the sex friends he has gained. In his mind, he's just a boring guy who happens to be surrounded by extremely kind and horny women, and he doesn't think that he can aim for anything more than his current situation.
Agawa is already aware that Gotou can't prioritize her above others, and has known this for quite a while. She realized that Gotou falls for anyone much earlier on, such as when he admitted to sleeping with Akito instead of studying in Ch.53. We also see her accepting this fact in Ch.109, when she says that she wouldn't mind marrying him if he got her pregnant. She plays off her statement as a joke, but her wistful expression reveals her sadness from knowing that Gotou doesn't exclusively like her (unlike how she currently likes him).
I'm glad Agawa and Gotou were able to have a pure and wholesome date that didn't involve having sex. I'm really curious what Takeda Super has in store for Agawa, since this chapter's last lines are quite dark and concerning.
Thanks
