There's also groups like Galaxy Degen Scans where they'll upload the first half or so of a manga to Mangadex or post the first 5-10 chapters, then lock everything else behind their Patreon paywall until they dump several chapters at once as soon as someone else starts translating it to scare off...
Comikey policy is allegedly to wait for an entire volume to drop before translating anything, but another romcom series I was following through them is currently 2 volumes and counting behind the raws - they got to where the main couple got together and dropped it after that volume was finished.
