Really unfortunate ending, the series was great outside of the penpal arc. It was a great ensemble comedy with a bunch of lovable gimmicky characters like Hinagiku and Mokuren. Lots of unused potential there with all the other teams or characters we didn't see much of like Tsuwabuki or...

It honestly feels like we got here really fast...I was expecting another arc or two the size of Tetsuma's before we actually saw the siblings fight each other.

I went back and looked, since I thought it was a side effect of his steroid abuse. It turns out I completely forgot that Sakura rips his hair out during their fight in the park.

Comments are finally back on MangaDex! Thanks Team Duwang for keeping the great scans coming out for Batuque (and early Usogui) all this time. Nice to see Jyungo up and moving again, though it does feel like we've arrived at the final arc of the story rather quickly.

"Antagonist gets a Power of Friendship buff" is one of my all time favorite tropes ever, I'm a huge sucker for it every time and god damn did it work here. Seeing even Team Obe cheering for Tetsu was great. Really have fallen in love with the Ogun Union. I hope they don't disappear afterwards.

I appreciate this development, Tetsuma seemed way too strong to be only one level higher than Kai/Inari/Sakura/Shouya. I would have expected the next level to look more like Oshyun than Tetsuma. It makes sense that BJ expected her to lose now. Ironically he didn't actually see her get oneshot...

ohhhh my god you guys are awesome. I appreciate Miracle Attack and EGS for getting this project started, but I would absolutely love to re-read it with Duwang scanlation quality and translations for the early chapters.

Kai is best boy as usual Did Sako really make me like Inari? lmao I've seen people complaining about this arc but I really like it, I like the Ogun gang characters and I'm hugely invested in the other kids getting to fight.

Was wondering when we'd start getting more of the Usogui-style pseudo-science superhumans other than Sakura, guess this is a good time for them to show up
