In my opinion Okada has difficulty nailing a solid ending (positive or negative), a lot of the stories feel like they just end. To my recollection Sundome is the only one that has a solid developed ending, it's just not a super positive one.
I don't recall them discussing an ending, just that they were going to be lesbian bikers. However, when they do shoot Mika's scenes due to her going to the tournament for the summer the president does mention he will need to do rewrites.
I've been using the official Japanese volume releases since the last volume of Pansuto, but if anyone sees extras that aren't included in the ones I upload I'm happy to look into it to make sure there's no little bonus info out there.
Okada tends to leave some room for interpretation. In this one I see it as Sagami doesn't get Yui, but he gets Chiaki. Yui doesn't get the President, but she gets Chiaki. Chiaki gets to have fun with both.
I took a look at the raws to make sure nothing was missing from the official volumes. Those last pages are just translator notes talking about their thoughts of the manga from start to finish, their future plans, lots of Praise for Okada and Pansuto (which was ongoing at the time this chapter...
There's an unspecified time jump from when they are at the camp to when Sagami meets back up with Chiaki. All that's really specified is that the time jump was long enough for the president to finish editing the film, and submit it to the contest. We do know the film camp was in then summer and...
I went in to add the updated page, but so far it's now showing as updated for me. I'll check again in the morning and if it's not there try to reupload it.
I don't know the business side of this, since I just do it as a hobby, but I'm assuming the ability to be compensated for the scanlation was the barrier. I just got tired of waiting for Okada's works to be translated so I decided to do it.
