I do kind of hope they work it out. If Nicole had completely fallen out of love that would be one thing but it seems like she just values being more self-sufficient and keeping her independence rather than being dependent in a relationship (which is a pretty healthy mindset). Beyond that...

This story feels much like a set up to a villainess otome type isekai before the reboot/reincarnation occurs.

Honestly I'm just just confused on what Henry was trying to do by riding past Berta. Like was he trying to say "I can help but I'm not gonna?" If he wanted to do that, he could have just hung pack and just watched her fall off her horse.
