i dont vibe with this one its just needlessly sad to say they magically forget her and then having her plushy and sign ruined just felt mean spirited like the author was just digging for a tear jerker, if they remebered her once in a while and were sad sure but like this just feels weirdly like...
i disagree with the take she was forgotten she wasnt talked about as much anymore because she well, died but i bet if you asked fans at the time theyd talk about her or if you asked even now.

eh it looked like they even got soloed by bears im all for a unique story but come on it shouldnt have been enough to drive dragons to extinction or near extinction, especially because they should have stronger bodies. the snake says they couldnt even land to hunt like they couldnt defend...
so have they still not revealed anything about his mother and nishina's past with kanejou? is nishina still an ally? what happened in the place where they were kidnapped, how did his mother die? whats nishina's end goal? who mated with her? i feel like none of these questions have been answered...
again this is before fantasy tropes were really solidified but whats wrong with a samurai being able to cast magic? who says they cant? if anything i find it unique and refreshing as a take on the class, more games and sources of media should do it more shake up the status quo a bit.
