Damn, what a mid ending. It manages to give Saiki a satisfying conclusion to his personal character arc, but then sidelines the big reveal of his powers to "and then his friends accepted him. Probably. Maybe. Offscreen." Like... ya, I know. I've read the Manga, I know his friends care about him...
Was anyone else totally convinced that the bug was actually a ninja using some transformation-jitsu? Finding out it was just a tracker left me feeling bamboozled.
So... If that translation of Shion's dialogue is canon, then Anri is a demon of the Satan clan... All the human characters in this series are actually demons, huh?
So, the Chainsaw Devil is so strong because the devils all fear him? Sort of the opposite of the Gun Devil being the strongest because the humans all fear him, I guess?
I swear, the big reveal is going to be something like "they used to be friends before but Reina tripped and dropped the loli's book into a puddle, and she just never got over it". With the amount of drama she's throwing out, Reina better have killed both her parents right in front of her eyes...
Damn, Twilight is really rocking that anime protagonist aura this chapter. Thinks the childhood friend was a boy and is dense as hell to boot, may as well make him the main character if this goes on any further.
