Feels almost karmic how I ranted on the prev chapter, how Dwight could take other, smarter steps other than just being "enemy of the world" -- and then this chap focuses entirely on examining their situation and making proper choices, considering their ideology.
That being said, I still wish...
1. It's your assumption that "he can't stop".
2. The human-demon society thing wasn't his initial goal, it just sorta happened, so I ignore it.
3. It's entirely an assumption that "he can't stop being the enemy of the world". Nobody knows how "The World" works, it's all thematic hypotheticals...
...? I'm not confused?
I did not say at any point in my comment that Dwight's ultimate goal is to rule human society. I merely said that if his goal is to "put a stop to human-corruption in their socieities", accomplished by being an even greater evil for them to band under: then he's treating...
You wrote a lot to meaningfully say nothing.
Yes, we all know why he made his choice to be the demon lord and what his theory is. I didn't say: "I don't understand why he chose to be a demon lord and therefore should stop".
I'm saying it would be much more meaningful to stop trying to be the...
I don't have the energy to write a long message:
I feel like Dwight can just stop pretending he's an evil ruler to be opposed, and just solve the core issue as to why corruption builds up in human societies.
He just comes across as edgy.
To the void:
I really stopped caring about how the MC monologues sadly to himself, how he just looks away for a second and suddenly his friends are dead / super old and fragile, oh woe be he, the immortal...
Just....Get over yourself, man. Stop travelling for 20 years by foot, if you care so...
I really felt the melancholy in this chapter.
I feel like more of the manga should be like this, and less slapstick, comedy bits with Grom and Friends.
The edge of Dwight as a character is so immense, it's truly a shame to not experience it more.
Came here to say something similar.
There's something genuinely wrong with the author's head, when they write a scene with people screaming for their lives, as they see their friends and family get torn apart into giblets and eaten alive.
...And then, French kissy, erotic time...! Yum yum...
Is there a reason Diera is referred to as a He rather than a She? It's fairly obvious, and Jap has no direct he/she words, so that comes across as a personal decision with the TL.
Adding another pop up to your notifications, to dunk on how stupidly malicious that comment was, considering there's a gap of months between each chapter.
I'm glad the MC mentioned it in the chapter, that it's a huge contradiction, a clear error by The World, to allow the manifestation of a demon lord, to destroy the current demon lord.
And while I do appreciate characters lampshading obvious flaws, it's still really fucking weird how the world...
What, doesn't everyone love an opponent who's invincible and seemingly immortal?
When the protagonist's whole shtick, is that he's a genius, immensely powerful figure of unfathomable power?
Doesn't everyone love it when the author creates a literal clown, to clown on his protagonist?
