Wait, so "it" can read people mind too? And decide she need to die.
Thats too absurd.

Well, I certainly wasn't expecting this kind of conclusion.

Apparently some "virtual image" of a famous person is walking around and causes people to die whenever someone recognizes its existence? And the new girl had the bad luck to see it after the job was over and thus die.

Also, it doesn't kill you if you just see it, otherwise all the people who had been walking around the "image" when the girls were tailing it in previous chapters would also have died. Rather, it kills people who "recognize" it, as in they know who the person is. Hence why even though the new girl didn't say his name, it still killed her because she knew who it was when she saw it.

So the image doesn't want to kill too many people? Cool, so anyway

Basically shy guy but instead of howling and running to kill you, It make "accident" happened instead.

I'd not be surprised if the shady job organization is revealed as SCP foundation and MC(or those who take a job) are classify as D-class.

That was my head cannon for this story every since the Mountain Resort chapter. The more I lean into it the more the entire manga makes sense.

It's not seeing it or recognizing it that does it. Simply noticing it, like really noticing it, it what it takes, imo. Otherwise, the bird and cat wouldn't have been killed. It's the difference between looking at a crowd of people and singling out someone to look at. But it also has to see you do it. I'm sure people watchers have noticed him before. But didn't call his attention to themselves, so they didn't die.

I replied to a comment last chapter where I said much the same thing. If you're the same guy, my bad lol.

Aw man. Something about the gloomy girl realizing she's seeing "it", and immediately taking steps to protect this one person who called her a friend...
That's heartbreakingly sad. But the best horror is kind of sad, I think. Otherwise you have no reason to care when people die.

Also the double spread of the back of 'its' head before the airplane slammed down. Wough. Genuinely eerie.

"I will travel the world once it's all over...."

I wonder what she's waiting to be over. Poor girl.

Folks are too focused on the virtual image thing, there's a reason the manga shows Daidai getting overwhelmed: the exact mechanics of the horror are extremely unimportant, and theorizing about it doesn't necessarily get you to a satisfying conclusion. People are still going to die... Goodbye, character whose name I don't remember. I hardly knew ye.
