As weird as this sounds, “Men” don’t exist in 90% of modern RomCom manga other than the MC. They just interact with cute girls, only new love intests will be added.

Of course there are exceptions. Close Family, Old People, and for some reason “Rapist Punks” who attack the Heroine (this is so common in Japanese stuff tho, every Persona or Yakuza is chock full of em)

So try and imagine why someone would feel that way, but use empathy. Why would someone feel that? What kind of treatment would make them feel that way? If you’re only thought is “well it’s because they are losers” then you will never have actual empathy for anyone

Realised who this girl was pretty much the second she appeared, and honestly, I’m extremely happy with this development. I didn’t think it would happen, and it was just going to stay a backstory thing to explain his current personality, but I found it kinda sad that it didn’t seem like he was going to get a chance to apologise or make up for it.
