he should have just killed that fucker and just tell her that the guy went away. there is like a 99,9% chance that Sunglenst will show up again.
its nice of him wanting to protect her innocence, but man this will just cause problems in the future.

BLEH, of course that’s the excuse he used “protecting her innocence. Sounds like another fancy way of the classic cliche line of “if I kill you id be no better then you.” I remember way back in the earlier chapters when her “innocence” was about to be forcibly taken away by the one lizard dude, mc did the exact same thing, healed him up and sent him on her merry to to continue his activities unpunished🤦

And ofc he didn’t kill him :haa: Cuz u know, he needs to come back to do bad things again, so mc can stop him and look cool :haa: And still no news about the mage girl, the only one we want to see coming back :meguuusad:
Thanks for the translation

I remember a manga where the MC does not kill some bandits, the usual Isekay "Japan would never" trash... then the bandits went to the village and kidnaped like all the children to sell as slaves, he got to the bandit hideout and saved the children just seconds before one of the bandits "tasted the goods".

That MC´s adventuring partners tore him a new one, left a lot of children with a bit of trauma, saw what could have happen to said kids... and in the end he had to kill even more people (all the bandits).

Why don´t they put more moments like that?... authors have a whole world full of possibly shitty people, so why do they stay with the first ones?... why do they have to keep all of them alive, this one was perfect for killing, let the butler go and now you have a full family of possibly shitty people behind him, even some that agree with the MC (a lot more content or filler if you need it)

a) Most authors aren't actually that good as writers.
b) Editors are only concerned about what is saleable, not necessarily with "good writing".
c) Publishers look for Profit. The big ones don't care what they publish, as long as it sells.
d) Most of the japanese(!) public, for which this stuff is primarily made, snort this stuff like cocaïne.

In japan it's this stuff, in Southeast Asia it's the Wuxia/Cultivation dross, in the West it's Disney Woke Shyte.. Same difference...

And there's plenty of FAFO stuff regarding protagonist choices to find on MD... Japan, too, has a Dark Comics culture..
But you won't find it as long as you got the "Shounen" tag in the list.... Especially with Isekai storylines..

I agree that I'd like to see more stories talk about the problem of misplaced compassion. Saving dangerous people exposes the public to that danger.

Guh…geez this series. I just remembered that he let the guy go that beat the shit out of his companion when he had every possible chance to take them out easily. Sugilinst and his butler will probably continue to be assholes to others annd kill and yet MC let him fucking live. This is crazy. I can’t respect the original author for writing him like this. Absolute shit.

Thanks for the translation!

It's seems pretty interesting.
