Thanks for pointing that out. I also feel that 'they've' feels more appropriate, but ChatGPT explains that the interpretation of 'まだ行軍を始めたばかりですがたしかに少々逸っているようですな' leans more towards 'self' or 'we.' I'm not sure if Reinhardt is referring to the Kento's summons or Rondal's group. Since Rondal's group is riding horses instead of marching, I'm quite confused.
I've changed it to 'they've' for now. Hopefully, we'll have the answer in the next chapter.

It's because Beatrice got to those two before he did because Kento was busy with making sure the road was clear for that letter to be delivered. During that time, Beatrice got to spin the story how she wanted it, and it's left Kento on the back-foot.

Hopefully we'll see him taking this relationship more firmly in-hand after the advice grandmother gave him in the previous chapter. And why is he kneeling? There is a limit to how much of a doormat someone can be.
Any normal person would be outraged. A simply loud "Shut up and let me speak for a change" would have been more than enough.
It's not like they can overpower him to stop him from doing something as simple as speaking his mind.

Heck, after this ,Kento should have dropped the lord's daughter then and there, heck ANY sane person with a shred of dignity would.
First she breached his trust by drugging him and trying to entrap him. And now she tries to make him seem to be the perpetrator in the eyes of two important to him people.
I mean if she does this now that he has no real ties to her, what won't she do in order to manipulate him later....the girl and her family are a huge giant red flag that should be avoided.

As for the other two girls...they claim to love him...but they hands down believe the girl(without a shred of evidence by the way) who has every reason to lie to them and want them to be out of the picture, over Kento...who again they are supposed to be not only in love with, but indebted to.
