i think the issue is that japan doesn't use pronouns, so the mtl (or even the human translator) just need to guess who's being talked about based on context clues

This why,dear scanlator,you make the chapters halves whole,it's just the third chapter alone and the interval in between has caused issues.

Either she is remembering things and she's getting closer to him to try and enact some sort of equivalent situation (maybe revenge maybe not), she's slowly being influenced by hypnosis even after it's turned off, or she's gotten used to seeing him in a different way on a neurological level and it's just making it easier for her to see him differently when it's off.

Kinda sketch no matter how you take it, but hopefully it doesn't result in her attacking him or something.
