The MC is supposed to learn whether humanity deserves extinction, but it was clear from the start that:
a) judging from the classmates, the answer is probably 'yes', and
b) the MC will answer 'no' anyway,
so where's the tension?

The MC's classmates are stuck-up elitists, and the teachers aren't much better. I don't even know why the MC is there, it's the worst place to make this judgement.

this couldve been really good if author actually tried to write side characters to judge humanity instead of going full manhua side character logic (friend of mc ---> best possible guy in the entire multiverse, with talent only second to mc, personality, background, character etc.
not friend of mc ---> worst criminal known to mankind, talentless whack, worst character, dumb, only thing going for him is his familys resources that will soon get burned to the ground including their land and people) like writing geniunely good people, scared people, bad but knows to pick their fights, bad but changes overtime, people who got caught up in middle of schemes and chose poorly, outright evil. author could just write so that dragons are already very knowledgeable about humans and what they can become under circumstances and using the boy to see how they affect the boy and how does humans act against dragons representetive and dragons in general, sorta scheming with the boy as their real idea behind this is to judge the humans rather than getting the kids opinion
trying to sell a common, cliched story as a unique wont work. you need to put in real effort if you want to make a unique work, but some authors are convinced otherwise

Don’t waste time on this. Entire thing is brain rot. If such a humanity exist, they aren’t even worth saving.
  1. When one is blatantly belittling you, how could he not understand that?
  2. How are u going to judge humanity based on few sample of humans?
  3. its Illogical. Who is going to hunt/harm dragons which can flatten entire city?
  4. if there are transgression, why haven’t country has intervened?

g'damn, nailed it.
The premise really does give one the opinion that this type of a story can only go on one of two ways: either will be utter garbage, or work of art.

If the author really wanted to put in the effort, they'd indeed just send the mc to a journey, to experience all walks of life -- or for the very least, have the MC with a VERY pronounced personality. None of that "haha, scratch my nape" shit. You can't have the judge be a generic, empty shell self-insert.

P.S: heck, the setting is problematic; the dragons can destroy the world, yet for generations they got fucked with repeatedly? They can't even prevent poachers from encroaching upon them? Nah...
(It has been more fun to shit on this thing than to actually read it, lel. Soz for whomever chose to translate it..)
