Translators whose first language is not English should keep tables of the irregular verbs pinned in work areas. The structure “might have fell” is just wrong, and “she fell” would be indicative, not subjunctive.

No, that's bit too young. Toddler is generally defined as 1-3 years old. We know she's 18 now (yeah I know she looks a little younger), so 12 years ago she'd have been 6 years old. Still very young.

And holy hell, what a fuckin' cliffhanger to end the chapter on. Nicely done
