I’ve always liked the rugged tomboy look, but the art is good enough that I’m liking her pretty and vengeful look too. Thanks for the chapter, I really like this story. I’d probably buy the offficial translation if it weren’t on one of those online reader platforms with DRM.

I did say he has considerable skills, which certainly includes the miniature crossbow. But if you look at the leather dress, it's somewhat lacking as an armour as it grants insufficient protection to legs, shoulders, and arms. But it looks good.
The dress has more coverage than a cuirass. It's actually sufficient in that regard. The problem is that it probably isn't hardened nor is it thick if it's made like a dress. It would protect from scratches at best. Also, that's a lot of leather - it's pretty extravagant.

On a side note, you probably wouldn't want to wear that directly on your skin if you know how they used to do tanning back then.

You're alright. There's usually this unwritten three-month-rule in scanlations that if a series has not yet been updated + the raws have been available all the while within that period, its technically legal to snipe.

Didn't expect an update, and today is supposed to be April first! Thanks for the chapter.

Finally we get to see Gelph in the flesh. BTW in case anyone is wondering why did he gave Alia the panties... She wasn't wearing any

Didn't expect Karla, our lovely psychopath appearing this chapter, but I guess the pacing is just right.

"I'm not an 'old man'!!"
He's an old man. Well, by youngster standards. They're usually wrong.

Totally random kids. Not important whatsoever.

I like the design of Miranda's clothes. Her personality... Let's leave that for later.

This dwarf is special. He's great. And an excellent smith.

Dialogue on page 17 is a bit awkward. Though MC is awkward.

Cute dress.

I wouldn't call that "full body" equipment. That should include arms and lower legs.

"Wear this properly, ok!??"
Yeah, that thing she doesn't care much about.

Very aggressive. Totally won't be a problem.

Yeah, good she came there alone so she can be disposed of more easily.

He's not chubby. He's stocky.

Random thugs, get randomly killed.

And she appears. Best character in the story.

By all means snipe it.
"Snipe." I've seen tax returns faster than this.

Seems like she attracted another violence child to herself, at the end. I wonder what that one's all about.
She's awesome. That's all I'll say. And calling her a "violence child" is... appropriate.

But she suggested nothing else to Aria, and so she walked out of the store wearing only it. Her arms and her legs below knees aren't protected even from scratches. Seeing how she's climbing trees and such all the time, it would be quite annoying. In her position, being suspected by her own employer and everything, she's not exactly in a position where could ever think: "Nothing's gonna happen for the next few days, so it's all the same what I'm wearing."

God, I can't believe I forgot about the plot here. Been too damn long since I've read about our ash crown princess.

Even if this is a snipe you're welcome to do it, actually by all means please pick up this manga since there's no activity for months

If we're taking about armor in general, it's better than a cuirass in terms of coverage. Full coverage comes in multiple parts, not a one-piece. Unless you're facing a hail of arrows on the regular, you only really need torso protection at the front. Hand protection too if you go face to face in one on one melee combat often.

You don't really need protection against scratches from climbing trees. If she does a lot of tree climbing, she shouldn't be wearing hard-bottom boots.

I think when the time comes she actually needs real armor though, that means she had failed in her preparation already.

It was a load of piss when it came to working with leather back then.

At least a step better then when the first humans had to use their teeth to soften it up.

Have you ever entered a forest, huh? You absolutely will want to have your skin covered. Even outside of forests, if she's running through a town, in hitting her shin against random junk even lightly it will make a lot of difference if there's cloth protecting her skin or not. If you get a scratch from dirty junk, you might get infected. A decent piece of clothing has good chances of saving you from that trouble. The same with her arms.

I haven't, honestly, got the bloodiest idea of why you are arguing against this. Is it because it's the April 1st?
