I feel like everyone in the comments forgets that the Shota is talking from experience in graphic detail.

Sure, for us it might be a half-assed explanation, but in context everyone is horrified by hearing that someone so close to them not only should be dead, but should had one of the worst deaths they can imagine.

The knight was always against all of this, so when she hears that description of almost certain Doom, it's obvious that she would be even more horrified, because she understands that even ONE of the things he described would be life threatening if not outright lethal.

Thank you for the chapter! I think Furedo was best translated as Fred, as it appears to be the name Fred written as close as it can be using Japanese characters. Same goes with Reinhardt. It's fairly clear it's based on an existing name and just written using characters that don't quite translate well.

You may have gotten the wrong idea from hollywood but the kkk were essentially just the paramilitary wing of the democrat party (think what the IRA were to Sinn Fein in Northern Ireland.) They were generally motivated by their direct interests rather than larger ideological commitments or some sort of abstract hatred. Famously this even included defending innocent blacks in court against other groups that tried to frame them for crimes.They would not have had trouble understanding someone else's legitimate grievances conceptually.

What the actual fuck are you talking about? The kkk are a very well documented far right extremist hate and terrorist group directly responsible for the rape, assault, and murder of countless innocent african american people. Their "direct interests" were keeping rights away from colored people through any means possible. What would even inspire you to try to spin PR for such a disgusting group of subhumans?
