Nah people jumping the gun on this one lol. I’m sure he will get to vent out some of his frustrations with his old buddies from his hometown including his ex crush , it’s just that a crush he had back then. The author needs to let the character have a growth moment for himself , and maybe this trip away can help him find some answers he needs. But comsidering the author i don’t blame you guys in thinking she could try something with this girl Altough I personally believe he shouldn’t.

we also got to see how shitty of a person Lilly is for saying she can’t see a future with him as a family, with the drawing we saw it’s something he does want for himself in the future. So for the love of god I hope she’s 100 percent out of the race, and a girl that actually shares a similar picture of his wins the race.

I am surprised that the next girl isn't from the share house as many others have said. However it is a textbook play - bringing in the childhood friend. Bonus for her being outside the share house which means she is "safe" to date. Hiromi just got burned by the share house rules so I expect some mutual hidden feelings for each other will surface and they will end up together. I mean the foreshadowing is too strong from last chapter where his boy said - "From the wounds of love spring a new love!"

I'm betting she has some unresolved trust issues with an ex as well, which will give them common ground. I'm imagining two possible futures:
1 - Long distance relationship, this gets one of the other girls to make a move and put Hiromi in some morally gray situations, then childhood friend girlfriend gets suspicious because he lives in a house with 5 hotties, one of which he already already has feelings for and dated.
2 - Hiromi somehow keeps the childhood house and ends up spending splitting time between old hometown + new girlfriend and the share house because of work. One or more of the girls find a reason to go to his hometown and hang out with him and his friends + girlfriend and let something slip (completely on accident) about having feelings for Hiromi and girlfriend hears, then trust starts to break down there.
