So that means the narehate village was made more than 4500 years ago going off of surface time. if 100 years is over 3000 years on the surface then as the village was created 150 years ago in the sixth layer its minimum 4500 years ago. so it existed through 2 2000 year-old cycles.

if the "dozens" part is more accurate than its likely at most 36 times difference between the surface and the sixth layer. which would then mean the village was created 5400 years ago on the surface which is nearly 3 2000 year old cycles.

So reg mustve either taken a long time to get to the surface or had remained up there for a while for faputa to fall into sadness from waiting for him to return. going off of the time difference him being gone for multiple days or even a month in the sixth layer would translate to a minimum of a month per day to 2.5 years for a full month.

assuming of course pure surface level time and reg stayed in the orphanage for 2 months which is just 2 days. So either reg took a long time to get to the surface (which is entirely possible) or he stayed in the first level for a while before using the last charge of his "rewriter" to rescue riko. Considering how his stated purpose was to find his "haku" i doubt he would have waited for that long if he found riko so it mustve taken him a long time to find her then i guess.
