So humans in this world have trouble with natural pregnancies on top of the gender ratio. That feels...kind of odd too. Almost like this world was cursed.

But now that I think about it, having more women than men means there can be more potential simultaneous pregnancies. 20 men and 20 women in our world can have 20 pregnancies over 9 months. While the man's willingness might be a bottleneck, 1 man and 39 women could easily have the full 39 pregnancies over 9 months at the same fertility rate. A whole 95% increase.

I'm not sure if the math maths, but I guess it wouldn't be that weird for humans pregnancy to be half as likely in that world. Since population decline is a known concern, it could be lower, but that might just be the men's unwillingness.

Idk if they’ve specifically mentioned “unsafe days “ but I wouldn’t be surprised if Sou did have some “super sperm” that’d be effective if he consciously tried to, tho while most ppl (cept Hinata for good reason) would want to get pregnant in this world, Idk how well it’d work out for ppl still teens unless they also get some kinda bonus stipend even without knowing the sex of the baby yet

If not, “the application process to receive a sperm donation is strict” considering he’s probably the only one in this world actively/willingly having sex the old fashioned way
