One got his family gone by aliens.
One got her life supported by aliens.
Had she not been hysterical, readers might've gotten her sympathy.
Too bad she had to be a drama queen about it.

...... oh wait...

I've been giving this author some pass since it really is working with some very interesting material story wise. But this chapter particularly feels if someone said "I can make weirdo manga like Fujimoto" but clearly couldn't and just misses the mark by a mile. Idk, it's weird with the storytelling and I kinda feel like it's for the clicks and reactions. Like, I don't like a lot of Fujimoto's work either but at least they feel like organic idiocy :nyoron:

TL;DR I'm not feelin this chapter bros :nyoron:

Kinda agree. That idiocy comes from following characters like Denji or Power in Fujimoto's work. Following someone like Kitami here just doesn't cut it. Bring back Nomamoto already author!!!

At this point author should just go all in on comedy. Last arc with Liz was pretty decent but these characters are too serious in an unserious story

While it may make sense in the factory or even going to or from work, no one thinks it is strange that the guy is wearing elbow-length rubber gloves literally everywhere he goes?

He's at a diner on what an onlooker might think is a date, and wearing gloves a murderer would use. Forget alien killing, someone would likely call the cops on him being suspicious in general.
Haha, add to that that they're shouting at each other loud enough for the entire diner to overhear. People are looking at them, but no one is reacting to the "killing aliens" parts.

At this point, I wouldn't be surprised if Kitami and Nomamoto can't actually be prosecuted for their murders, since it turns out the government forgot to give aliens human rights. As they're sentient beings, everyone treats them as people and is unaware of this loophole, but since they're technically not "human", human rights don't actually apply to them and so, unbeknownst to anyone, it was actually legal to kill them all this time and all of the purchases, etc. they've made are not legally binding. ...I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if the author thought of such a stupid twist.

Oh look, another new character that behaves in a manner inconsistent with what they claim as a motivation. Ho-hum.
The humans fighting back against the aliens are just as abnormal it's insane.

Honestly i'm starting to think they represent 7 deadly sins with Nomamoto as Gluttony due to their behaviour.

I feel like this author is trying to cook like Fujimoto, but isn't getting why CSM's "so random" style works
On the contrary, I think people are too obsessed with trying to find a way to compare this to CSM for no good reason, like how people used to compare Seraph of the End to AOT back in the day.

ok what

If she half-likes the girl, why bother going to her grave?

Everything is so fast this chapter. Kinda superficial. Namamoto getting along with the girl? And how come she never discovered that namamoto eat aliens.

If the girl was truly afraid, why did she contact him??

Is it too delusional to want to believe that we will have a twist that everyone is faking behaviour and are actually smarter?..
1: Keeping up appearances, playing up a tragic background for social media updoots, lying about the frequency and she just happened to go that day when the brother was there. Quite a few ways to explain it depending where the author goes.

2: Namamoto doesn't seem to be acting like a literal pig-monkey to get her to leave anymore and glowie-chan might've figured cultivating a positive relationship would lower her guard. Didn't discover it (yet) because who the hell would or even could eat multiple masses (that are bigger than humans) that might as well be made of sewage?

3: Notice how she jebaited him into meeting her at a restaurant with many witnesses and many phones. Her hatred / desire to destroy him socially in addition to legally is stronger than the fear. The public setting and him going after aliens as opposed to humans makes her feel safer to do so.

4: Yes.
