I agree with what the other guy said, but it's also about seeing whether they can overcome the PKers who deliberately got paired up with them in order to sabotage them. So it's character development and interpersonal relationships.

Eh I guess it depends on certain ppl. And the mood was kinda ass because one of the teammates is a griefer. There is always a certain heavy air in the chapter u know, it just brings the mood down, not very fun. Very different from pure rivalry with no personal problem stuck on it.

These are gamers. MC aside, they all play the game because they like it. If you don't like PvP tournaments in a game, you don't join them.

If you wanted to say, "They're not having much fun because of the griefer," you should've said that, and not blame it on being competitive. Those are two very different things.

Well by that logic all of slf should be boring slop too, and yet we love that. I think it's a mix of tolerance with pacing (I watch one piece this is nothing) and not being animated like the other guy said. There'd just be a lot more hype, it'd hook you way easier if there was goated animation to tide you over until the pacing gets better. If it's gets better.
