even dragon ball's concept of power rely on ki. just think that goku lost his ki, he would lost his connection to his super saiyan and be average strong human

Thats exactly my point with DB. Whenever they do that, the whole "martial arts" gets thrown out the window because theres no martial arts involved anymore, they are just flat out stronger and faster, not more skilled. Unless they just mean skill at accessing ki, but I wouldnt call that martial arts anymore.

Yup. I just based it on dragon ball the OG before the last enemy they fought was frieza. Or even before, before they fought picollo. There was many wacky martial arts before
