Weirdly having experience in this... Yep. Human teeth tear as they bite which hurts a LOT more and causes much more damage, so takes longer to heal and hurts for a longer time. Pointed teeth stab in which damages a much smaller area overall. The thinner they are the less they would hurt, generally speaking.
