Ah, it's so nice to read the manga & see how calm & quaint the scale of the conflict was at this point lmao, i just caught up to v6p1 of the LN (book 9) & that fucking ending left me so goddamn worried about what's in store I wish I hadn't read it until part 2 came out. At least it's refreshing seeing Togami again back when he was just a dickhead like Katsuya instead of swapping between being depressed and being half of the only semi-healthy human relationship portrayed in this world full of psychopaths, lol

but yeah if anyone knows a place to read the WN translated lmk please boss they spent an entire volume definitively establishing which character is best (human) girl before immediately turning around & threatening my peace of mind & i hate it

thanks! & you're right but they were basically absent from v6.1 so i perhaps overspoke since Yumina was the only one present & she got decent character development (hence why the ending stressed me out so much, alpha and beta hate her ass WAY too much for this sudden growth to be anything but a death flag lol)

You should know there are some key differences between web novel and light novel:

In the web novel:

• Akira never forgives the pickpocket and goes on a bloody rampage to kill her.
• Akira has a bit of a falling out with Elena and Sera when the two side with Katsuya in an argument. It doesn't really amount to much, and so it makes sense the LN cut it.
• Yumina has a less developed relationship with Akira.

Spoiler: But the biggest difference is what happens later on

In the web novel, when Akira kills Katsuya, Airi goes on the run with Katsuya's faction, and Yumina is just never seen again. While in the Light Novel, Katsuya, Airi, and Yumina all die.
