This also happened with, Ononaka Akihiro, who drew a normal cis romcom with an alien girl and then drew the Gayest Magical Girls You Know. What I've also noticed is that seasoned hentai artists don't don't do this. Their fetish may be toned down for the general audience, but typically its out and about.
