Basically it's dark souls. There's more to it than that but if you at least know the basic premise of dark souls then you'll probably like this story. It even kinda plays out like someone's playthrough of the game as well.
The art is nice, monster designs while grotesque are visually very clear. Same for the action in general, there's no trying to figure out what you're looking at.
It's a messed up world but you can understand why people act the way they do even when it's very evil. The mc is flawed but relatable and the story will him punish for those flaws. There is some power creep later on but it does make sense why.
Also I really appreciate that the author will take the time to explain any possible questions/plot holes the reader may come across, with explanations that make sense even if it is kinda of an exposition dump at times.
I'd say it's worth checking out.
