Will there be a way to... let's say open a new window with only the ones affected by this DMCA event so that people can go through each one, check which ones they were reading, which ones they were interested in reading (both groups which now will need to find new sites) and which ones to just ignore.

Could be something as simple as one comment / page with everyone hit with those actually linked to the mangas themselves, not just names so you have to look up at this time 300+ mangas ?

LOL I've been reading MD longer than most of you. Don't blame me for telling it how it is, and don't get salty when you see info you don't like. It's a bad look. Enjoy the skeleton of a once-great site. Until the rest goes down in a month or two, that is
I mean, if we're getting in a pissing match, I've been doing this in one form or another for a quarter century, so like I said....

That has nothing to do with what I said, the site could've gone offline without so much as a hint on what happened. If readers go away so be it.
Doesn't it? You talked about the scale, so I responded. All of the popular stuff was removed, hence the mass exodus of readers and scanlator groups. Like I said, even if it's 'up'.. it's down. Mangadex will be a shell of it's former self. Not to mention that scanlators just won't wanna mess with a site that had so much hard work taken down.

A site with many of its top rated content removed. I don't think this is a win.
It does! There are a lot of hidden gems still intact just waiting for you to read them!

See my reply above.

It is the lesser of two evils.
Arguing if it's better to lose a leg or a arm doesn't change the reality of things, the site is effectively crippled and chances are it won't stop here, many groups won't trust mangadex anymore to upload, readers will leave.

There's no lesser evil, just slow and painful death and fall into irrelevance.

I still think most people who work on series that haven’t been struck by the dmca will still upload to mangadex. The releases will still be scraped by the most relevant aggregators most likely.

Absolutely - I would guess 20-25% of the titles that were actively updating in my library are affected, but that leaves a huge number of works untouched.
From the list in the reddit thread the affected titles in my reading list are like 20 or so, accounting for around 6% of the total.
Of course if a full official list will be released this number might increase, but as it stands I was barely affected.

Now, if all the scanlators decide all together that the fourth or fifth time a DMCA was honoured breaks the camel's back and never ever upload something again, obviously I'll never see more chapters again.
