It is! I'm mostly using it to practice my JP, but if Warinai herself asks me to stop I would relent immediately. Thanks for the TL! God, I'm glad that this manga survived the purge (even though it's licensed iirc).
Is the author female? It is! I'm mostly using it to practice my JP, but if Warinai herself asks me to stop I would relent immediately.
It's unconfirmed but Tarisa(1st name) is a feminine name(atleast the 'Tari' part)Is the author female?
Was it the “angled” text or maybe the fonts? Making it legible is pretty important, so I’d like to know. The typesetting on this chapter was a bit rough

If it’s the pure vertical text I could just make the letters “stack”, as for the angled text it making it less extreme or just making it more “normal” are my only option there.
I’ll probably make any ‘short’ sentences stack when it’s a vertical bubble else I’ll just write it as I have so far. Those two were definitely major factors. I think the font choice probably could have been better, with anything with serifs out for sure. The vertical bubblesis just an inherent issue with that, and groups where I worked as typesetter generally hated just putting letters in order but sideways text isnt't really much better. It's an issue that doesn't really have a clear cut answer.
I'd probably ease up for switching between fonts, and make sure all of the text is in caps since that's how comics are typically typeset. Capitalization in comics is usually done by making one character larger.
Also the shape of the words is important, you want to have the text form a bubble or diamond shape if possible.
I knew it. Already thought about it when I saw the MC portrayed as a yandere rich talented guy with family issues in a shoujo manga. I also remember reading probably the bleakest part in the webnovel, then there is the author's note:It's unconfirmed but Tarisa(1st name) is a feminine name(atleast the 'Tari' part)
That +another reader(friend) saying that the author's words is structured similarly to 86's Asato(x2) makes them believe Warinai's a woman
I'm mostly using the she&hers when talking to my reader friends

ここまで来るとぶっちゃけますが、心の折れたイケメンが性癖かもですね。
Koko made kuru to butcha kemasuga, kokoro no oreta ikemen ga seiheki kamodesu ne.
(I'll be honest at this point, but I think I like handsome men with broken hearts.)
Looking at 86, I see the pattern here
