Thanks for the update!

I already forgot what the f is happening in this manga, was it ever mentioned why MC is not speed running and pretending to be weak as f? Any other protagonist would have speed run this stuff specially if they already know the story and to do's and dont's.

I think I'm gonna drop this until a good 10 or so chapters come out. I'm tired of being disappointed with this dumb act of his.

Because it's the game in question kind of has one of those stories where things can fall to crap if they don't go right. Since the MC only knows so much about their current circumstances he has to be cautious about altering the world's progression to avoid being blindsided by events that he has no knowledge of. He also has to be careful about not standing out too much because of the nobles that hate the idea of anything disrupting the status quo (which is why class E is treated so horribly as this is part of that process.) Sure the MC is strong compared to most students, but that doesn't help much against adults who are going to be far higher in level or if he finds himself attacked by a group of powerful individuals (the school festival arc was proof of the fact that those aligned with the nobles can't be underestimated.)

On top of all of this, the players are infected with status conditions that limit their options (as one would expect from conditions named after the seven deadly sins,) with the MC having to go for a slow but tanky build (unless he forces himself into skinny mode) because of how Gluttony affects his stat development 🤔

Seeing him continue to be stupid and act weak has gotten annoying and tiring a long time ago. Been thinking of dropping at this point since nothing really interesting has happened.
You have to remember there's good reason for him needing to play this way. It's not just so he can keep the story on track, but also so that he can avoid the eyes of those that would deem him a threat. The nobles hate things that disrupt the status quo and are too powerful to be underestimated and other players are also potential sources of problems. It's much better to be in a position where he can pull strings from behind the scenes, as he has been, then find himself in a position where his options are limited because of those that harass him if they knew how strong he currently is, especially since he's not likely anywhere near as strong as those that the top yet, and if he is, he'd have to reveal all of his trump cards in the process.

These drawings of Souta having a gigantic head are killing me. Fat people have normal heads, fat accumulates on the cheeks and neck.

You're not wrong that it's annoying, but he has reasons. He believes that he will have foreknowledge of upcoming plot events, provided he doesn't let the story go off the rails. Also he doesn't want to stick out too much lest he gets targetted by the noble families.

I think he's wrong on both points. The story has already gone off the rails, with multiple characters getting influenced by players. He's already stuck out enough to get noticed by nobles-- Tenma, the student council, the Red Ninjettes clan, etc.

MC WTF you sitting pretty on your ass almost got your girl stolen.

Story be damned.
Tbf, he doesn't really see her as "his girl," Bouta's or the protagonist of the game's girl maybe, but not his. Avoiding major disruptions to the story so he doesn't have to prepare for more wild cards than necessary is still his number 1 priority. I understand why some people might not like this, but it's actually pretty logical that he does so when you consider how volatile the game world seems to be

Tbf, it's not that he cares that everything remains 100% accurate to the story, just that it remains close enough to be predictable. He noted in the school festival that there are certain story beats that don't really matter too much one way or another, and the amount of attention is still more in the realm of intrigue in him without him yet being labeled as an actual threat, which is the main thing he aims to look out for (the fact some eyes are on him is also all the more reason to lay low until said intrigue dies down.)

That being said, I don't entirely disagree with you either, there's definitely some major denial he needs to get over regarding his goals for keeping the story on track. At the very least he needs to acknowledge that it's time to start prepping for things to stop following the path he expects them to, though I do think he's right to be aiming to maintain his place in the shadows as much as possible to increase his options 🤔

Because 🤔
it's nice to read a comment not raging about why ''MC is not shoving his gigachad Dikk" and using his power to floor all these side characters, why? cause he is the MC

I understand people's frustration to some extent, but we have so many stories that play out that way most poeple are wishing for. I don't have a problem with author writing the MC to be this cautious about his actions.

There's no catharsis in this story. It's been suspense and build up for 74 chapter, with maybe 2 exceptions (the solo fight with the demon and knocking the fuck out of that asshole tester come to mind). It's been too much tension and questions for way to long. I get the whole "MC hiding himself to not fuck with the plot" thing (even if I think he's being stupid, I do understand it to some extent) but we need some release.
Give us a side plot where he fucks up a dungeon solo or something if you don't want to mess with the plot. Better yet, have him actually, I dunno, do literally anything besides stand there and watch other people. Just need something to break this endless suspense, just gets boring.

If he did that the then nobles would be threatened and possibly kill him and his family. He explained this many times.

Is it just me or is the perspective really weird in this chapter? Why does MC look like a giant dwarf here compared to regular people :wtf:
Yeah, that's the one thing that really throws me off with this series, his height and build isn't entirely consistent. If it's intentional the only thing I can think of is it has something to do with his Gluttony skill mixed with his level, though it could just as easily be the mangaka not being consistent with the MCs design 🤔

They screwed up MC's fat mode proportions so bad. It's like they can't decide to make him short and stubby or tall chubby.
