No, that would be very much out of character and actually be bad writing. The story is a trashy cheating drama, but that doesn't mean it has bad or illogical writing. It's one thing for a stupid character to make stupid decisions, but decisions that are completely out of character and antithetical to the narrative is actually bad writing.

She has 0 reason right now to be hooking up with her, especially since she's an antagonist. The most obvious path this story could go is Yuni learning about Fuuko's past and saving her from her evil ex.

Hot take: everyone in this story deserves a slice of the blame for the hot mess it is. But while we all focus on Yuni and Fuuko (rightfully, since Yuni deserves like half the pie's worth), people acting like Nanase is totally blameless is kinda nuts. I mean, way back in volume 1, her and Yuni had their little tiff at the festival, and it seemed like they'd kinda worked things out to some degree... then Nanase pulls the 'ghost my gf on our anniversary' thing.

Again, to be clear, Yuni is waaaaaay more to blame for things devolving to the point they are, but Nanase definitely isn't totally clean either. See: the chapter where she got her teammate the cute gift and didn't spare a though for Yuni as another example. These two girls do not belong in a relationship with each other (Yuni probably doesn't need to be in a relationship period, though, until she works herself out).

Yuni you keep thinking about Fuuko yet when she’s needs someone you drop her like nothing. Sure they might look like they might end up together but honestly Yuni is so self centered and selfish that I rather she ends up alone. Fuuko deserves more. She’s gone through so much and has no one but her obsession with Yuni. Sure Fuuko has some screw loose but she been thru a lot. She just wants one person to choose her first. She deserves more. I totally agree with you. Nanase isn’t innocent. She confessed and puts her girlfriend on the back burner. I don’t think they know what love is. Nanase and Yuni seems more like the title “girlfriend” is more of an obligation than a real relationship. They make it seem like breaking up is not an option. I think they both know but avoid it. The author is setting up Nanase and Yuki to ship and Yuni and Fuuko ship. But honestly like you said Yuni should be single to reflect on herself. And Fuuko deserves better. Yeah she’s kinda messed up but so is her back story. Yuni doesn’t deserve her. Fuuko deserve someone better.
