I know they're legally clear to legally take down this series. But without an official English translation, this is denying people access to culture to no real benefit to anyone. Then some of these same whiny motherfuckers will complain on social media about Japan becoming less relevant on the world stage, culturally. Yeah why do you think that is it's a total mystery isn't it Herlock Sholmes.

If I ever wind up in an argument with them, I'm just going to post Sans who is just as much a meme over there. I'll say "if pressure meant Toby Fox could never play legally or illegally play EarthBound or Mother 3, you'd not have your funny meme skeleton so shut up".

imo copyright law is a cancer on artistic expression. Art was never supposed to be a commercialized product it is literally just a universal human experience. ofc artists should be recognized and rewarded for making great work but the current model is trash. It's too bad but I guess in the meantime we will just plunder the high seas.

Does anyone know what the groups translating this are gonna do? Just dropping it, or going to another site?
