After your most recent one, some of your translations are still a little off (the words don't..mesh let's say, they don't flow, properly).
But still - "o they're quicker" not ONCE in recent years, has a "quicker" translation been a good one.
You're doing it properly - well, proper enough to read, and grasp the story (the recent chapter was..off a bit..) but dude, "we'll be happy to work with you" don't offer for ANY one that's "faster". They're not better, nor ..legible to be read. And, trying to translate after you've been doing how many chapters?
At this point - they amount to poachers trying to cash in on a "popular" story, and get "free money" for doing a fraction of the work, copying and pasting from a translator and saying, "yea, this is good enough". MC-job (if you've heard the term, look it up).
And the colored art pages is a nice touch.
Please, don't give up the series (unless you have to) especially, after all this work for someone to just, well, ruin it. Think of it like working your way through a game/mobile game - letting someone else play, and they sell all your stuff, and reset a bunch of characters "for the future" keeping 2 good weapons just because "that's all that's needed" in THEIR eyes.
It's spitting int he face of you, who worked on it - and US who read it..and it goes across MANY series. Don't let this one go the way of the dodo bird - let alone other manhua with a decent story, ruined because the translation is crap.
Granted, you're not doing the best (should be able to read, and get lost in it, without a thought of the translation or wording that "something's off" ..anything along those lines. Might be the original story's fault to some extent tho) - but - you're not the worst.
And most importantly - Speed - means NOTHING if you can't READ THE STORY, let alone get headaches from trying to translate the translation into something understandable. As ironic as it is - stand up like a tiger and swat them off, a little slower, so what? We wanna see how the story goes - BUT we wanna see it done PROPERLY. Granted, not waiting 2 years for an update, but, the difference between one a week (when there's hundreds of books to read, updated daily) and once a day (with no clue wtf is going on in the story), i'd choose weekly, and devote my time to other stories if i feel the need in the meantime.
You're doing fine, don't hand it off because of some misguided "respect" when the respect to the source, let alone the reader isn't given on their side. Have some confidence dude/dudette (not sure), and I'll say this again, please don't pass this off to someone who's gonna make it worse -.-
And - don't let another group who wants to play the role of poacher for a quick buck ruin a series. Patience is a virtue, and impatience ruins series, and enables those morons to continue ruining GOOD stories for the rest of us, that love reading them. Don't be a part of the problem, and no right to say this myself, reading for free - but - please keep at it and make sure we have at least a legible translation in this day and age of horrible ones thinking what they're translating to is "english". When it isn't -.-
