More like that even if you train hard you wont win against those who also train AND are talented.

Even if a normal person can reach the levels of a talented one they are restricted by time: For example normal person that trains 16 hours per day might win against a talented person that trains only 4, but what happens when you have a talented person that trains 10 hours each day?

Effort CAN overcome talent, but only as long as the talented one doesnt put effort too

I’m actually thinking the spell that was casted on Mc was basically turn him into whatever killed him.

So he was killed by the beautiful lady hero so he became effectively the child of the beautiful lady hero.
