Very harsh, maybe a bit harsher than I'd be. (my love of trashy gender bender works is 100% not ironic) But I totally agree on pretty much every other point. I don't get people who log onto forums to complain about something they got to experience for free, in a language that the creator likely doesn't fluently read. Like... imagine isekai cheat powers creating the most overlevelled and powerful "still looking for who asked" imaginable and that's what I think when I see that kind of pearl clutching.

The modern swim wear always gives me a bit of whiplash in pseudo-medieval settings.

Despite the fantasy tropes, going by the school, the clothes styles (of the adults at the very least), we're post-medieval with regards to the setting. I'd say for sure post-Renaissance, maybe even close to 18th.

Also Algernon? The smart mouse is named Algernon? This has to be the first rodent to rodent isekai reincarnation I'd ever heard of.

Not a mouse, I think he's a gerbil. Fluffy tail. There's a possibility of some other rodent or maybe even some fantastical fictional creature of the world, but gerbils are pretty ubiquitous so that's my guess.

It depends upon what country and where in said country.
Happens in the USA all the time; my first (kinda pretend) "girlfriend" wore a bikini to the pool when I was 12 and she was 13; many of the other girls in that age bracket were wearing the same thing.

It's a swimsuit; at a swimming area. ... and isn't it actually Much More weird that people are swimming with clothes on?
People (commoners) didn't swim with clothes on until the mid-1800s, so it seems pretty odd to complain about the style of the clothes...

I mean, just maybe, but shouldn't we be complaining that "swimming with clothes on" is just a product of one specific religious group in western Eurasia? And asking why is that changing the isekai world into having bikini swimsuits existing?
