You'd be shocked, but the truth is... You absolutely CAN slash with a spear
It just takes enough focus, dexterity, strength and a good aim. And distance between you two.

Who and why would slash with a spear, you'd ask, eventhou it is a poking weapon? Because it is nasically a knife on a stick. Would you only slash with a knife, or would you poke enemy with is when you can? Same with spears. If the distance allows you only to slash your enemie, then why not do that?

Well, i'm talking about actual battles, but this is kindergarten, so you can just push it off ass "childs play". But never forget that this is something someone can do for real in a real fight. Never forget to not underestimate your enemies.
