What I don't understand is when bullies KNOW MC IS OP aka they can feel it BUT they for some reason still attack MC instead of backing off??????? talk about being brain dead and having a death wish :aquadrink:

I just can't understand the bullies that torment someone just because they are friends with a popular person, appears in so many stories, just don't get it.
I don't get it either but I actually witnessed something similar in my youth ... obviously though not as "overdone", just teenager brats being douchebags.

Me who reads a lot of manhuas, oh boy, that's way more frequent there but i get you, it's very annoying
If i can't get the girl no one else can especially someone of lower status than me kind of logic
they generaly don't care about the girl's wishes

Would've been better if he had actually accidentally killed him and gotten a wake up call to how powerful he actually is.

Even after a light tap and breaking his arm, he's probably not going to realize how powerful he truly is. The joke must live on, no matter what, even if the joke stopped being funny multiple chapters ago.

I read a ton too, is present in manga, manhua and manhwa, is very common, is just a mindset i can't understand because this guy some time don't even love the gilr, just hate the "loser" being a friend.
This guy shouted to MC to not stand out, there is even that, we can see it in this case as narcissism and superiority complex, seeing a level 0 around a "celebrity" fried his brain.
But it happens even with near to no explanation, the concept of bullism, thnakfully, escapes me.

it's some retarded japanese thing, I don't consume american media so idk if it happens there as well, it probably does.
unfortunately it happens everywhere, America have it too, and the response seems to be the victim killing themselves or a school shooting
is not only japanese as korean and chinese comics have it too, some incredibly cruel bullism, some "light", but just in comparison to the worst cases
can't say who have it worst because I've seen terrible representation in all medias

While it's indeed realistic to happen (jealousy and such), it's just an overused trope and no longer funny, but rather annoying.

I never understood the logic behind using too much strength by mistake, and not applying it to EVERY action he takes. I understand that the kick would've killed the guy, but simply intercepting his punch and parrying/blocking it cause the guy's arm to break in multiple paces. Wouldn't him trying to get dressed in the morning completely ruin his outfit? Or him trying to open the door would break it off it's frame?

It mainly stems from feelings of inferiority and jealousy, with little desire to be a friend toward the person they supposedly admire

Being a child that was heavily bullied in grade school, seeing bullies in fiction get what’s coming to them never gets old.
I transferred out of my grade school just for sixth grade because of the bullying that had been increasing over grades 4 and 5, so I totally get what you mean.

But at the same time our MCbro thinks "He's being overly dramatic," I'm extending my arm out thinking "That's definitely not the way that should bend."

Yeah ma man, our parents brought us up well XD
it's a very simple thing, don't do to others what you don't want done to you

Hope he just chopped his arm off and let a healer-type regrow or re-attach that dude's arm back.
That would've sent a stronger message.

It's a kind of crab mentality, basically.

They thought getting close to someone popular/important equals to being successful in life, so it's like: "Why did he succeed and not me?" (bonus point if they thought the person in question is undeserving of such position, "the strong mingling with the strong is alr, but the weaks shall steer clear")
This. Which results in where a person is perceived to stand in the social hierarchy. Which reflects prestige, and ofttimes influence.
