eh, a few of the brightest stars are still visible, but it really is a world of difference when you compare the city to somewhere like into the countryside. I got genuinely mesmerized this one time I was visiting family in the country and just happened to look up on a whim, and that view alone made me long for a house away from the city where I'd be able to see that all the time

Same, dare i say the first time i saw a pure clear night sky is still engraved in my mind to this day. Its just something too pretty when youre used to the dark nights of the city
