You rarely see RomComs handle that kinda situation, points for the willingness to go that far
For how it was handled and used to make them more intimate without having to use anything lewd was masterclass.

Love how they were both cringe and fucked up during the date, but it all ended up better because of the fuckups. Idk feels like theres a life lesson about being honest with yourself somewhere in there

"Don't worry about bleeding out your vagina, I shot a bunch of snot out my nose! I totally get it!"
Well, to be fair the only real comparison is a guy pissing blood and that's so much worse than menstruation.

Pseudo Harem was fire though, good writing
I think they meant it more like how a lot of romcoms introduce a fuckton of other romantic interests while obviously having a main one. And basically will never go for the full harem route (keeping it as a "pseudo harem") but just have the other romantic intrests there for the entire story.

Meanwhile Reiji with RaG, an author who is MARRIED, acts like relationships are alien concepts.

Motherfucker must have gotten an arranged marriage or something.
That manga is all the proof needed to realize that either god doesn't exist, or that they're malevolent.

That THAT piece of shit gets to keep going while so many peak kino series get axed... It's fucking unfair, man!

Random ejeculations would have some if the mess and embarrassment. I recall having it happen in college a few times during class. And no, I was not doing anything in particular at the time.

I'll give this 99/100. It drops a point because he never asked her what product she uses, then freaks out when confronted by a choice. He has a sister, so he should have a bit of a clue.

Being a man, I don't know, but can you not realise you are leaking?

My guy, being able to step up for the lady in her dark hour of need is the true mark of success for a relationship. That’s how you earn extra credits from the significant other. And yes, it’s definitely one of those subjects you didn’t expect to see in a rom-com.

Oh, and PS: being able to deal with emissions from your lady’s no-no parts in a calm manner is a good sign that you’ll very much be granted access in due time.

so like, is there some kind of successor to Takeshi's castle on JP tv right now? Because if there is, she needs to sign up for it, and if there isn't, someone needs to make it so she can sign up for it. Hot damn, this woman is a friggin ninja!:meguupog:

Nah you see... Reiji knows exactly what he's doing.
It never was about writing "believable" relationship or progressing the story.

He basically has two goals. First: stretch out the series for as far as possible, so he keeps making money off it. Understandable. RaG is his main cash cow. And since so many people still reading it and buying volumes, he can do whatever he wants with it. Plus he clearly rage baiting people into discussing it- and it works!!

Second... it's not a secret he's obsessed with Chorizo, a character he himself created. He views her as a perfect woman. So the last thing he wants is to see her with another man. Even in manga he writes!!! So he put himself at a stalemate, he can't progress the relationship and he can't end the manga. In the meantime he tries not to turn Chorizo into absolute villainess (he fails). So yeah, here's that.
Or maybe I am wrong and he actually can't write relationships.
This is exactly what I think as well. The author knows how to play their cards right, and I’m sure their editor plays a big part in it too.

Believe it or not, the RaG series is actually well received in Japan enough to be published up to 40 tankobon volumes.

And it doesn’t look like the story will end anytime soon 😅… unless there’s a sudden drop in sales for the latest volume

Take note kids, this is what true masculinity looks like. None of that bullshit alpha male wannabe crap, but stepping up and doing what's necessary to take care of the ones you love, even if it means showing vulnerability

Komi is VERY manly. He hasn't once felt insecure about how his gf knows martial arts, stronger than him, how "silly" the two look when holding hands, understands how menstruation works, and knows how to pull moves such as subtle kisses. He short but hot damn he IS masculine.

I wouldn't mind having a boyfriend like him
