We saw bandana looking at what look like a bunker entrance, so Kuruto's village might be sitting inside some kind of subspace with time dilation effect.

Forgive me, as I might have to give this manga a reread but I just want to spitball a bit here before I do.

It's been a while that I forgot about a large portion of this manga but Kuruto was raised in some village where everyone there is amazing and would put him to shame, right? And because of that, once outside the village he has some skewed sensibilities that doesn't match with everyone else's common sense.

Think Kuruto is also somehow long-lived (or just ages slowly) but doesn't realize that he is one because everyone else in that village are just as long-lived, so he never really questioned it or never really noticed just how much time passed. Something like that?

At the time when he rescued hildegarde, he did say he accidentally brew an immortal potion and gave to to her to drink when they were young, so he could have been making and drinking the same potion but his common sense is like "it's just a immortal potion that anyone can make" and didn't question about it.

The more they lie to him the more it feels like theyre just using him, regardless of how much the monologue about how totally bad they feel about it, it’s ridiculous.
And the bomb that hes 1000+ years old at the end just comes off as him having a mental disability for not realizing what’s going on

With each and every new chapter, I get more and more mad at the fact that they refuse to explain to Kuruto his abilities.
The guy comes from a overpowered village with weird common-sense, but it doesn't mean that he's mentally challenged.
Just tell him that what he knows and think it's normal, for the common people outside his village it's groundbreaking and that he should tone it down at least when he's in public.

I'm guessing his village has a festival drink they drink for festivities activities and that drink is something the S-rank -cough- SSS -cough local herbologist cook up (a secret youth potion?? or slow aging potion). Either way no one in his village is normal in the general sense

alright so chapter 1 it says he's 15 and later he is shocked to meet an elf who says she is 80

so maybe he considers 100 years to be just 1 year considering how young he looked when hindelgarte thought of him the last time they met
but that also creates a lot of other questions since she says he left after giving her the potion so whatever

I just rechecked chapter 37, page 17.
He delivered the potion to her that made her not age via mouth to mouth so potentially he absorbed some of the effect at that moment.
