I feel quite sad that the last few chapters are essentially rushing the story to a close maybe because of the axe, it has so much potential.

But honestly, I'd take a definite ending instead of being in limbo for so long.

It took us years before we finally got the last 2 volumes, and man is quite a whiplash going from no chapters for years then getting everything translated to the end in like a month or two.

Thank you for translating these last few volumes, this is one of my most favorite manga honestly.

The confession is one of my most anticipated chapters ever since I read the raw (the yuri kiss panel!), I consider this the ending and the next one a epilogue of sorts.

I'm satisfied at this point and I can't wait to see you guys in the final chapter.

Cant leave you guys hanging on that confession scene now! This one finally concludes everything that the series has in store for us and basically an ending in itself if we exclude the last chapter. Though I've always had an attachment to just male koichi and yukio instead of kou-chan and yukio. I do gotta say that it's not that bad of an ending by itself and The true reason that motivated me to actually translate this series was because of that cliff hanging chapter 39 that never got updated!! I was already having the shock of my life for the sudden ts of kouichi which I never expected the author would do...But I never got the answer until I decided to translate it myself... Anyways! Enjoy this chapter before we finally come to a close for this series! Maybe tomorrow or the next day I'll upload the last chapter so you guys can still have time to talk about the journey we had from the start of this series! This would probanly be the dream scenario for a genderfluid person but its one of the least desireable omes for koichi, i imagine.

Well it's not over yet. I can see Kou somehow still making it kick in if he begins to look at a cute dress again and think "I could've worn that". Also the TS yuri ending is kind of almost the default with a lot of these sort of stories. I even know a case where the manga was a TS girl + guy couple for like... volumes and volumes. Then only literally in the last couple of pages does it whiplash into TS yuri. I actually did feel kind of bad for people who like het. (yeah they have like almost literally any story to scratch that itch, but nobody likes feeling bait and switched)

Yukio could be the pregnant one too, by combining Yukio's sperm with Kou's egg. Lots of possibilities when you can get both genetic material .

I cant help but think what would happen to a pregnant person if they get switched to male, assuming that would even be possible in the first place.

Well, we've already seen that periods progress timewise as if the change never happens, so it would probably be the same with pregnancy. You'd want to make sure you stayed female for a while near the end to give birth, though.
