I never think montana is a girl but today the 3rd volume of this novel was release and I was shock to see Noct, who is a 80y.o man that supposed to be related to Montana to actually look like a loli. In the web novel he was describe as a pink hair shota I fucking swear the illustrator intend this

It makes enough sense though. I mean, he was wimpy enough to come up with the plan on his own instead of owning up to it properly, so it's clear why he wouldn't want the others to know he had been rooting for the beastman all this time.

In a way it's kind of impressive that he managed to get off his ass and actually finally 'fess up.
